An old Parallel Bible that was handwritten by members of the Derby community in 1885. This Bible is also a Bible Dictionary and has a list of cities mentioned in the Bible.

In 1907, the first Derby bank was replaced with the Farmers and Merchants State bank. This antique safe once belonged to the Farmers and Merchants State Bank of Derby, Kansas.

The Farmers and Merchants State Bank of Derby, Kansas was robbed and J.J. Butterfield, a cashier, kidnapped. The robbers broke through this vault door to enter the vault and steal the money.
